Gautham Gambhir – First place in ICC Test Ranking
Gautham Gambhir became the number one batsman, replacing Pakistan player Mohammed Yousuf in the latest ICC test player rankings issued yesterday.
He is the highest ranked test batsman. The 27 years old left-hand opener is the first Indian batsman after former captain Rahul to top the batting chart.
The other Indian batsman to have achieved NO-1 Position in their careers are

• Sunil Gavasskar(1978-80)
• Dilip Vengsarkar(1987-88)
Gambhir ‘s 847 rating points, is the only Indian in the top 10 batsmen’s chart, followed by
