Counseling process on 20th and 21st at Trivandrum
The following candidates are eligible for online Registration
• Candidates placed in the Primary Merit List of IIT-JEE 2009
• The non-general candidates placed in the Extended Merit List of IIT-JEE 2009.
• The general candidates in the Extended Merit List of IIT-JEE2009 whose ranks are less than or equal to E10000.
• SC and ST candidates placed in the Preparatory List of IIT-JEE 2009.
Other Information
• The IIST Counseling will be held at Trivandrum on 20th and 21st July 2009.
• The number of candidates called for IIST counseling are many times more than the actual seats. An invitation to IIST counseling therefore does not guarantedd a seat to any candidate for any course.
• Candidates who have been offered seats by IITs or affiliated institutions may also figure in this list, but only those who have not accepted a seat in any IIT or affiliated institutions will be eligible to appear for IIST counseling.
• A mere offer of seat by IITs or affiliated institution does not disqualigy a candidate from attending IISt counseling.
• Actual admission based on personal appearance and verification documents

21.07.2009- Counseling for general Category Candidates.
